Seattle Seahawks (-3.0) V. Oakland Raiders
With the first game today we have the Seahawks and the Raiders playing in England, and for the first time the NFL made a smart decision by letting them play at 1:00 EST instead of 10:00 A.M. So this isn’t a very exciting game because both teams aren’t very good, but I do like the Seahawks here. Last week they gave the Rams a run for their money, and they will use that momentum in this game. I think Seattle will win and cover the spread.
Indianapolis Colts V. New York Jets (-2.5)
The Colts head to MetLife this week to play the Jets. The Jets had a really good game last week where everyone was playing good, but for some reason I really like the Colts here. All season long, the Colts have been keeping game close, besides last weeks game against New England, and I think today will be another case. I think the Colts will win and cover today game.
Los Angeles Chargers V. Cleveland Browns (-1.5)
Now before I made my pick, I had the Browns winning this game, but I just cant do it. I know the Browns have improved so much, but the Chargers are the better team here. The Chargers defense might have looked bad last week, but they still have a very good offense. Philip Rivers threw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns and Melvin Gordon ran for 104 yards last week. And for some reason I just hate that the Browns are the favorite here. If the Browns were the underdog, I would’ve picked them, but today I have the Chargers winning and covering.
Chicago Bears (-6.0) V. Miami Dolphins
With the Bears coming off a bye week, I see this game to be a easy win. The Bears defense have been so good that they will kill this Dolphins offense. Ryan Tannehill is already out of today’s game so Brock Osweiler will have to start today’s game, and man o man we will have a terrible offensive game. The Bears defense is going to eat up Osweiler today, as the Bears will win and cover.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers V. Atlanta Falcons (-3.0)
The Buccs are also coming off a bye week, and head to Atlanta to play the Falcons, and I am not looking forward to this game. First we have the Buccs, and no matter who they play at QB, you can not be confident in how they play. Then you look at the Falcons, and they are a surprising 1-4 to start the season. I really think this is a fluke, and the Falcons will find a way out of it, but they just cant do anything right. But who knows, maybe today’s the day they get out of the funk and get back on track, and I think they will. The Falcons will crush the Buccs this game and cover the spread.
Arizona Cardinals V. Minnesota Vikings (-10.0)
What I just said about the Falcons, I also feel about the Vikings. The have a very easy game for them this week going against the Cardinals, so the Vikings will blowout the Cardinals. The Vikings got their much needed win last week in a very close game against the Eagles, so this the game they need. This game will give Kirk Cousins his confidence back, as the Vikings will win and cover the spread.
Buffalo Bills V. Houston Texans (-10.0)
Buffalo just keeps doing it to me, they just do the opposite of what I say every week. I am now 0-5 in prediction the Bills this season, but this is the week. I will get the Bills pick correct. The Texans haven’t looked good all season long, only beating the Colts and Cowboys this season, not the hardest people to beat. So with that said, for my lock of the week, I have the Bills beating and covering against this huge spread.
Pittsburgh Steelers V. Cincinnati Bengals (-1.0)
The Steelers head up to Cincinnati to play their division rivals this week, the Bengals, and this is my game of the week. This game is very important because if the Steelers win this game, they will show why they are the best team in the AFC North. They are still missing Le’Veon Bell, so if they can get this win, it will be huge for them. I am confident that the Steelers can get this win, they just destroyed Atlanta this week, and I think Cincinnati is the team they are every year. So the Steelers will win and cover the spread.
Carolina Panthers (-1.5) V. Washington Redskin
With the final game of the 1:00 games, we end it with the Panthers heading to Washinton D.C. to play the Redskins. Last week, the Panthers had a really bad fourth quarter allowing the Giants to comeback and take the lead. But the Panthers lucked out by making a 63 yard game winning field goal. Now you might be worried about the Panthers, but the Redskins had a terrible week against the Saints. The Redskins had no answer for Drew Brees last week, allowing 42 points, well only scoring 19. I think the Panthers will have an easy game this week, and they will beat and cover against the Redskins.
