Chicago Bears V. New York Giants
I am so scared for Eli’s life right now. There is no doubt in my mind that Khalil Mack and the Bears defense will get +5 sacks on Eli today. Then again, I will give credit when credit is due, the Giants offenive line hasn’t been the worst in the last few weeks. Now yes they are still trash, but anything can make their o-line look good at this point.
One positive for the Giants though is that Chase Daniel is starting at QB. Last week on Thanksgiving, I found out that Chase Daniels is not how you spell his name, so I have been mispronouncing it for years now, but none the less, the Giants can have a good defensive game this week. Daniel didn’t impress too much last week against the Lions as he only had 230 yards and 2 touchdowns, and I was shocked that he didn’t have any interceptions.
For the Giants, they had a very strong first half against the Eagles last week. They were leading 19-11 at half, and then all of a sudden, we stopped trying and barely used Saquon Barkley. It was such a stupid game plan coming to the second half, I really don’t understand why we lost. If we continued to use Barkley we could have easily won that game by running the ball down their throats.
But for this game. I don’t see the Giants standing a chance. The Bears will kill our offense this game and I wouldn’t be shocked if Kyle Lauletta or Alex Tanney make their first appearance as a Giant today.
