2019 MLB Offseason Breakdown: Miami Marlins

Here is my MLB 2019 Offseason Breakdown Blog. This time it is on the Miami Marlins and I will talk about who the Marlins acquired and lost, their starting lineup and pitching rotation and my prediction for them this season. Let’s get into the blog.

Offseason Acquisitions and Loses:
Miami Trades J.T. Realmuto for 3 minor league prospects

Miami finally cuts ties with J.T. and they got some pretty good prospects. The Marlins got one top 30 team prospects and a #27 prospect in the minor leagues right now. Marlins are going to be on this rebuild for a while, but at least you guys got a new logo.

Starting Lineup:
C: Jorge Alfaro
1B: Neil Walker
2B: Starlin Castro
3B: Brian Anderson
SS: JT Riddle
LF Curtis Granderson
CF: Lewis Brinson
RF: Peter O’Brien

Starting Rotation:
1. Jose Urena
2. Dan Straily
3. Wei-Yin Chen
4. Trevor Richards
5. Sandy Alcantara

Offseason Grade: C

The Marlins, well they suck. They won’t do anything anytime near the future. They will finish last in the NL East once again and they aren’t relevant so no one cares. Trade Starlin Castro and get good prospects for him.
