2019 MLB Offseason Breakdown: Pittsburgh Pirates

Here is my MLB 2019 Offseason Breakdown Blog. This time it is on the Pittsburgh Pirates and I will talk about who the Pirates acquired and lost, their starting lineup and pitching rotation and my prediction for them this season. Let’s get into the blog.

Starting Lineup:
C: Francisco Cervelli
1B: Josh Bell
2B: Adam Frazier
3B: Jung Ho Kang
SS: Erik Gonzalez
LF: Corey Dickerson
CF: Starling Marte
RF: Gregory Polanco

Starting Rotation:
1. Jameson Taillon
2. Chris Archer
3. Trevor Williams
4. Joe Musgrove
5. Jordan Lyles

Offseason Grade: D

The Pirates are in a situation where they are nowhere. They are not a good team, they have zero prospects. This is going to be a long rebuild. This season they need to trade players like Marte and Polanco and hope to get some prospects. They will finish 4th in the NL Central.

This guy wanted me to make sure that I know this. I want to formally apologize. I didn’t do my research on the Pittsburgh Pirates this season because they aren’t a good team and won’t be doing anything. For now on, the Pittsburgh Pirates have the SmallDog curse. See you later sucka.
