Here we are, WrestleMania 35. The Super Bowl for wrestling fans. The World Series for wrestling fans. Everything that we have been waiting for ends tonight. I am so hyped to see how this WrestleMania turns out because, for the most part, I am excited to see how every match turns out. So enough with my crap, let’s get into the match.
Curt Hawkins V. Zack Ryder V. The Revival for the Raw Tag Team Championship
Now I love Hawkins & Ryder because they are Long Island guys like me, but I just feel so bad for the Revival. They are my favorite tag team to watch and for some reason, WWE doesn’t treat them like they are one of the best tag teams in the WWE. And now they are going to lose the straps because Hawkins will get his first win in +200 matches and it is a New York/New Jersey WrestleMania. Hopefully, they win it back tomorrow night. Also, I don’t know if it is going to be a pre-show match, because it doesn’t say it on the WWE website, but it is below the Cruiserweight Championship match.
Prediction: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
Tony Nese V. Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Championship
Tony Nese earned this opportunity after beating Cedrick Alexander in the Cruiserweight Championship tournament and things have gotten heated between the two on 205 Live. This should be a good match because every time Murphy has a chance to shine, he does it. Now with Nese being a Long Island guy too, you might think he’s going to win, but Murphy is the only thing holding together 205 Live right now so I see him holding on to the title for another month.
Prediction: Buddy Murphy
WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
There is no doubt in my mind on whos going to win. There have been reports of the WWE loving this woman and want her to be a future star, and that women is Lacey Evans. Her stupid interruptions all will lead to this as she will win this award. Also, during the Hall of Fame ceremony last night, X-Pac said that WWE should name this battle royal the Chyna Memorial Battle Royal, and they should. It would be a great way to honor the memory of one of the best female wrestlers of all time.
Prediction: Lacey Evans
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
I mean, cmon. Braun Strowman is winning this match. There is no way in hell that you can convince me that he won’t win this match, but if he does and those rat bastards Michael Che and Colin Jost eliminate him I will laugh my ass off of how stupid that is.
Predictions: Braun Strowman
Aleister Black & Ricochet V. The Bar V. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev V. The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship
Now onto the main card, we have the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match and I wouldn’t hate if they put a ladder in this match. I am not the biggest fans of multiple team matches unless they are all allowed in the ring at once. But for now, I see Ricochet and Black getting the win. It would be a great way to really start their main roster career off after getting their curtain call moment on Friday night. imagine if they had both titles tho, that would be a really cool moment.
Prediction: Aleister Black & Ricochet
Kurt Angle V. Baron Corbin (Kurt Angle’s Farewell Match)
HOPEFULLY, this match does not happen or last more than 3 minutes, because we want Cena. Now as a John Cena guy I love fans actually wanting John Cena and not booing him off, but we really need Cena. Baron Corbin is just a guy who has a few good moves and Angel, who has ZERO history with Corbin besides this past year, should not be wasting his time with him. Please WWE do not make this happen.
Prediction; Kurt Angle
“The Demon” Finn Balor V. Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship
BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. Sorry, if you don’t speak demon like I do, this means Finn Balor is going to win because he has the demon paint on and he has never lost with it on so it will be a no contest. BLAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. And that means never say “blah” again and stick your tongue out as the demon because it was very stupid. I am just excited to see Balors entrance and I wonder if they put his entrance second.
Rey Mysterio V. Samoa Joe for the U.S. Championship
So this is a match not many people care about. We all love Rey and Joe it’s just there should be more in this match. If you didn’t want to put the ladder match in the SmackDown tag team match you could have put it in here and added people like Andrade, Ali, R-Truth and some others. But, this should be a good match and Rey will win his Grand Slam tonight. And If Rey is still injured then you can make his son Dominick to help because that man is HUGE.
Prediction: Rey Mysterio
A.J. Styles V. Randy Orton
I mean no one cares about this match. These two had nothing planned for WrestleMania so they put the two together. Now the build-up has been good between the two with a lot of shot fired, mainly at Orton’s expense. But I just don’t care. Orton might hit an RKO in a cool way that will make me and the rest of the world go crazy but I do not see him winning this match. Orton already hit his crazy RKO on styles on SmackDown Live this Tuesday so in WWE’s eyes he can’t do it to him again.
Prediction: A.J. Styles
Nia Jax & Tamina V. The IIconics V. Natalya & Beth Pheonix V. Sasha Banks & Bayley for the Women’s Tag Team Championship
The second fatal four-way tag team match we have on the card and to be honest it should be a two on two match. Nia and Tamina already got their shot at the title and the IIconics just have not lived up to their potential since joining the main roster. I rather have Beth Pheonix and Natalya V. Sasha Banks and Bayley for the title. Nonetheless, it should be a good match and Bayley and Sasha are retaining their belt.
Prediction: Sasha Banks & Bayley
Roman Reigns V. Drew McIntyre
Before I start with the match, I am SOOOOO happy Drew McIntyre is getting booked the way he should be. This dude is a legit star and he deserves a match like this. HE has destroyed Roman every chance he got, and it makes Roman winning this match much more special. From returning from cancer to getting his ass kicked every week, now getting this win is going to be a feel-good moment.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
Shane McMahon V. The Miz in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
I have to give it to WWE, I was very skeptical about how they were going to make this match happen, and I was wrong. I am very excited to see this match go down and I wonder what kind of crazy shit Shane will do in this match since it is a falls count anywhere match. Also, The Miz being a face is really fun to watch. Maybe Miz and Bryan can have another feud and now we are cheering for the Miz.
Prediction: The Miz
Triple H V. Batista in a No Hold Barred Match and if Triple H loses he has to retire
Another match that I was on the fence about, but the build has been amazing. With Batista just screaming “you know what I want” and “give me what I want” 30 times at HHH and Batista saying “Hunter, kiss my ass” is all I needed to get me into this match. Batista is a very underrated speaker and all he needs to say where those three lines and it got me hooked. This should be a good match and we get to see how Triple H makes another spectacle out of his entrance.
Prediction: Triple H
Seth Rollins V. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship
When Rollins won the Royal Rumble, like most people I thought it was a no-doubter that Rollins would win the title at Mania, but now it is looking more unlikely. For some reason, WWE doesn’t want us to be fully happy and with the two matches following this one, there is a clear and decided winner. With this one, WWE can get away with Brock winning. And that suck because Rollins deserves to be champion and no one wants to see Brock with the title anymore, but WWE hates complete happiness. Hopefully, I am wrong.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar
Kofi Kingston V. “The New” Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championsip
Like I said in the other match this match can only have one winner that the fans want to see win and that is Kofi Kingston. His rise since the SmackDown before Elimination Chamber has truly been special and it shows how good WWE is when they have a problem to fix. And Kofi is the second most over superstar right now, so for him to lose this match would be SOOOOOOOOO stupid. Also, Kofi deserves to be the first African American WWE Champion. All the hard work he’s put in the WWE he deserves this win.
Becky Lynch V. Charlotte Flair V. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship (Winner Takes All)
And the match everyone cannot wait to see, we have the first ever all women’s main event match at WrestleMania. These women deserve every moment of this and there should only be one winner. If Becky Lynch does not win this match there will be a riot in New Jersey. The thing is I am a little scared about this match. Who has mainly been the first since the Women’s Revolution, Charlotte Flair. Flair was the first Women’s Champion, in the first Hell in a Cell, First TLC, Most women championship reigns in the history of WWE. So it is not beyond WWE to make her the first ever dual Women’s Champion. We just have to pray WWE isn’t going to be stupid about this and gives us Becky Lynch.
Prediction: Becky Lynch
