2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction: Brooklyn Nets V. Philadelphia 76ers

Welcome to my NBA Playoffs prediction blog. For every series, I will give my prediction for whos going to win and we are starting off today with the Nets and 76ers. So let’s get into my blog and at the end, I will give my Conference Finals predictions and NBA Finals prediction.

(6) Brooklyn Nets V. (3) Philadelphia 76ers

The first series of the playoffs start today and we got a pretty good series to start things off with. We have the Nets who made a very shocking run this season due to players like D’Angelo Russell and Spencer Dinwiddie having really good seasons. Russell, who’s probably going to win Comeback Player of the Year made his first career All-Star game and averaged 21.1 PPG, 7.0 APG, and 1.2 SPG.

The Nets though have a very tough challenge in their first year back in the playoffs as they have to play the 76ers. The 76ers didn’t have the successful season most thought they would have, but a 51-31 record is still very good. The Sixers also had the 4th best PPG as a team this season scoring 115.2 PPG.

Now I don’t know why I think this way, but I think the Nets have a strong chance to win this series. I can see the Nets taking this series to game 7 and somehow winning that game. So I am just going to stick with my gut and say the Nets will win. Everyone needs a hot take from time to time so this will be mine.

Now onto my prediction for the rest of the playoffs, I see the Warriors and Nuggets in the WCF. Of course, everyone knows the Warriors will make it, but I say the Nuggets because they have a very easy path to get there. They verse the Spurs in the opening round and then either face the Blazers or the Thunder next round if they win. So they should have no trouble with any team they face in my opinion. And in the Eastern Conference, I have the Bucks and Nets making it to the ECF. Again don’t know why I’m thinking this, but if the Nets beat the Sixers they should have all the momentum in the world.

For the Finals, I have Warriors V. Bucks and the Warriors will win in 5. I say 5 because Bucks have home court advantage so they might get one in Milwaukee, but the Warriors are winning it all. Hopefully, this will be the last season.
